Brief de Design de Logo

We run a website (www.hedgegate.com) where we track and rate mutual funds. As a spin-off from a Swiss University we enjoy a lot of credibility for our academic approach.

We would like to update our existing Logo for two Ratings we produce for mutual funds. The rating names are "Performance Rating" and "Total Risk Rating".
Both Ratings ranges from "A" to "E" and have a specific date (monthly i.e. August 2013). See examples files.

The Total Risk Rating is a lot more valuable in terms of validity and quality (should be visible in the logo).

The logos will be placed on documents about the mutual funds (usually pdf's). It will also be used in the web and in presentations. It should be simple and easily recognisable. It might be printed in black and white.

Marché(s) Cible(s)

The logos are used by mutual fund providers. But in the end the target markets are investors worldwide. The focus are on institutions not on private persons.

Exigences

Doit avoir

• The logo must have a date on it (only month and year)
• Must relate to hedgegate (with or without our brand logo)
• Must contain the rating letter (A, B, C, D or E)

Bien d'avoir

• It would be nice if it is clear from looking at the logo that "A" is the best and "E" is the worst possible logo. Right now we have solved it by including all letters (and put the actual rating in bold). Better solutions are highly welcomed!
