New Business revamp needs an exciting logo

Thank you all for your submissions. There are some really creative ideas that have been sent and others perhaps just need to re-read what it is we do.
We want to create an even balance of both playful and sophisticated. Bright colours may achieve this that could should be balanced and not over-sauced.
As we make sculptures and castings of hands in stone, we want the logo to reflect what it is we do. Each sculpture has a story and with it a variety of emotions that come with it.
The parent who's child has been diagnosed with an illness or perhaps a parent who wants a casting of their grandparents before they pass and a memory to last a lifetime. The couple who after 10 years together are still happy in love and want a casting to celebrate. The friends who have remained together through childhood and always there for each other. We want a logo to compliment this. We want to be playful without being too childish and serious without being too corporate.
The reason we chose Medusa for a business name was because of the stone factor. In greek mythology, Medusa was a guardian that had snakes on her head instead of hair. One look at her face and onlookers immediately turned into stone. We wanted to capture that insight of stone and obviously use it for a logo which will naturally telegraph what it is we do. One idea that we thought could work was to creatively use the image of medusa' snakes. Maybe an idea could use the snakes and make sculptures with them.
Good luck everyone and thank you
Best wishes
Scott and Jo
