Brief de Design de Logo
We're an IT Services Firm with an active website at www.somodata.com looking for a custom logo. Must be able to fit within the spec's (dimensions) of our current website framework.
Ability to display on a white and black or color background is essential.
We're open to color schemes as long as it fits within our current website's look and feel. In general we would like to give the designers and much free reign as possible, we don't want to stifle creativity!! The final winner will also be invited to design a business card layout as well.
Our clients range from commercial to government.

Thank you everyone for the amazing designs, please keep them coming in!!Based on what we've seen so far it looks like the best design that will match our website will be a design that contains white font for the home page and black font for the sub pages.Things we've seen that we liked:Use of colors.Use of geometric shapes for the symbol.Clean font, nothing to Star Trekky, soft rounded edges.. We really like what a few designers did by making SOMO bold font and DATA in a lighter font.Logo or symbol located to the left of the font, we think this will work best within our current sites design.We'll continue to provide feedback, we appreciate the response we've gotten from everyone. It looks like we will need to have 2 version of the logo, this is in order to best match the consistency of the current website.
#1 White Font (for dark backgrounds)
#2 Black or Dark/Color Font (for white backgrounds)
The logo symbol should be located to the left of the text to fit into the framework of our website.
**If at all possible, please show us examples of your design on our website's homepage.

Project Timeline:
8/22 Monday - Reviews and Feedback will resume Monday morning
8/23 Tuesday - Top 10 will be chosen
8/24 Wednesday - Top 3 will be chosen, we'll work with designers to make any last minute tweaks
8/25 Thursday - Winner announced, will work with contest winner to make any other adjustments needed
