Brief de Design de Logo

My website is being built, and my domain name is www.lettingsbarrister.co.uk. I'm a UK based barrister specialising in residential and commercial property disputes and my target audience is landlords and letting agencies. I therefore purchased the domain lettingsbarrister.co.uk. I do have a website up at the moment but it is not good and therefore I am having my new website built for me as we speak. So please do not design a logo based upon my current website.

I am looking for a logo which incorporates the name and possibly has an icon but clearly gets across the following message:

1) I am a barrister
2) I specialise in property disputes (both residential and commercial)

PS - I do not deal with buying and selling property, only disputes between landlords and tenants and leasehold issues.

Something else about my service is that landlords and letting agencies can come to me directly instead of using a Solicitor. This is called Direct Public Access and I am pioneering this in the world of lettings.

I am not looking for too gimmicky, but rather professional, modern, creative and affordable (possibly).

Also, the logo has to be able to fit well on my website and the look of the website is very slick and not too fancy. There will be a drawing on my website of the London Cityscape panorama across my home page. Please see attached an example of what the drawing possibly will look like on my home page. It's going to look professional, creative, impressive.

In terms of colour for the logo, I am thinking an appealing blue. But I will leave the design and exact colour to you!

• 1) the words "Lettings Barrister" and
• 2) something relating to commercial and residential property within the icon and/or the way the letters appear.

Bien d'avoir

• eye catching, innovative and unique.
• It could have a colourful icon - I really don't mind. I would like to see different options as I find it hard to visualise.

Ne doit pas comporter

• I am not that much of a fan of scales of justice, hammers, etc. I find this a bit corny and has been done too much by law firms. However, the logo must still be comforting to those who are expecting a barrister and/or legal professional so it cannot look too far out.
• Also, no stock images!!
