What does Payment Not Guaranteed mean for designers?

When a project is marked as guaranteed it means that the customer has committed to paying out a designer and has waived their right to get their money back. If it is not guaranteed, the customer can opt to get a refund of their money.

You can determine if a project is guaranteed by viewing the job brief and looking out for the following image marked on the project:

Hello everyone, i like a few of the designs but none of them are 'wowing' me. Can you incorporate these colors - white/black/silver/metallic - and incorporate a martini glass with a stir stick and olive instead of the letter 'Y'. please submit more designs as soon a possible. I would like to finalize a design as soon a possible.
