Brief de Design de Logo

The Mount St Helens Creation Center is a small 501c3 Christian ministry, based near Mount St Helens, in Washington state, USA. We are part ministry, part tourist attraction, as we operate a visitors' center. Our current logo is too complex; I would like a simple design that can be embroidered, as well as printed. (I have uploaded the current, unsatisfactory logo). Although I have filled in the logo text below, the logo does not, in fact, have to have text, if the design is good enough, or the abbreviations MSHCC could be used.
