Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for a new Jewlery Design company based in Ontario Canada called "Boamie". Boamie imports quality Australian opals (particularly black, white and boulder opals) and designs jewlery pieces to reflect their raw, natural beauty. We primarily use silver and gold (white and yellow)and provide polished and brushed finishes on metals. The majority of our products are rings. Custom orders are available for customers upon request.

This company is new and in the beginning stages of development. The URL boamie.com has been secured. The name Boamie is what some aboriginal tribes have named the Rainbow Serpent. The Rainbow Serpent is what they believe is the energy grid of the earth and is responsible for all the colours in the earth as well.

We would like the design to be simple, clean, and more contemporary. We are reluctant to have any illustrations in the logo and would prefer just text, but will welcome any ideas that may fit if they are incorporated well. Our original idea was to have the logo simply as the owner/operator would hand-write it. This may still be the case. We would like the final design to communicate a natural, beautiful, elite product.

Our final packaging of each product sold is a small round wooden (mahogony) gift box. We are considering having each box "branded" with a hot iron with the final logo design. The design will need to be crip enough to do this and also look good on a smaller scale.

The price point of the jewelry pieces range between $400-$5000
