Brief de Design de Logo

Need a cool fresh exciting logo for a new company which is going to wholesale distribution of exciting new functional fashion. surf, outdoors, fitness, skate, snow, gym, sports (football, cricket, baseball, basketball, rowing, cycling, etc) clean, fresh, young (18-40 year demographic). Mainly male, but, female as well. The name Sparkes is a family name, but, connotation should be that we are the spark to launch new and exciting brands in the Australian market. My attempt at a logo is below, I quite like it, but, open to something different, more professional, etc.
