Brief de Design de Logo

I have a business currently named Reclaimed Wood, Inc, www.reclaimedwoodinc.com. I am looking to re-brand my company utilizing my own name, Jimmy Hovey. We currently mostly build and produce products using reclaimed barn wood. While that material is abundant currently, I am concerned that may not always be the case. So I am interested in using reclaimed, recycled, re-purposed and salvaged wood for my projects as well. We currently make custom high end furniture, barn siding accent walls and reclaimed wood flooring. I have decided to go with my name to put my stamp on who we are and to be more personal on on one impression. I am well known online as Jimmy Hovey and I also maintain a lighting business as well as a consulting business. I want to have one concept for my name and have the ability to interchange the description such as Jimmy Hovey

I do a lot of different things so I want the description to be interchangeable, but my name always consistent across my different business interests assuming that is possible. It is very important that the name be clearly legible as I will utilize this on my business vehicles so I want the name to be very clear. I like the idea of signature logo's but concerned about the readability on something like a vehicle. I plan to use the logo on a branding iron for my furniture projects so it has be be simple enough to be readable as a brand on something made of wood. I prefer white background but want the background to be interchangeable for different colored shirts, hats, and vehicles. I am thinking one color would be ideal and that color could be interchangeable for future ideas. My favorite color is red. For the reclaimed wood business our colors are red, charcoal grey/silver to brown. My lighting business has traditionally used red and green. My consulting business has traditionally used blue. In the end, I am looking to create my symbol for my name. I plan to use this logo for many years to come.
