Brief de Design de Logo

The brief is to design a new logo suite for Hero Town Geelong Inc. (“Hero Town”)

Hero Town trains everyday heroes. The organisation provides personal and professional development training sessions in private business, local government and school settings. Thus, the logo must be versatile to work in youth and corporate venues.

Hero Town focuses on empowerment of everyday heroes through outlook (including growth mindset, grit and mindfulness), self-awareness (understanding and applying the hero’s journey) and social resilience (overcoming the bystander effect, conformity, compliance and obedience).

The training empowers everyday heroes to save and improve lives (encouraging social connectivity, addressing bullying, supporting whistle-blowing, and responding during emergency situations).

Creative considerations:
All submissions must include “Hero Town” in the design.
All work submitted must be original.
The logo should be easily displayed and usable in both colour and black-and-white environment.

All entries must have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi or be in vector format.
All entries must be no smaller than 1200 x 1200 pixels

Logo selection:
Competition is open to all. Those connected with the Greater Geelong region: please include this for consideration with your submission.

Though not required, please feel free to include a brief explaining your logo style.

If all entries are deemed unsuitable or unqualified, Hero Town Geelong Inc. will have the right to determine whether to extend the dateline, reject all submissions and declare the competition ended without awarding a winner or hold another competition in the sole and absolute discretion of Hero Town Geelong.

Hero Town Geelong members will form the judging panel.

On completion of the project, source files and creative rights will be handed to Hero Town Geelong Inc.
