Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for a new retail business called Thai Me Boutique in Melbourne, Australia. We import unique, hand made, fair trade fashion accessories from Thailand and sell them in boutique markets.

We want our logo to have a vintage feel to it with either an Art Deco or Art Nouveau style.

We are happy to accept a range of designs in our desired style but our basic concept is for a figure of a classy woman with long, flowing hair and a long beaded necklace to be its centrepiece. The figure can be just the head and torso or the full figure, in colour or silhouetted.

We are also interested in seeing some elements of the design that have a fabric 'feel' to them.

For the font we would like something like Fortunaschwein.

For the colour scheme we would like to have blues and soft greens with a small splash of something brighter but are also happy to look at designs incorporating purple or red. Essentially, any design in the correct style with a vintage feel will be seriously considered.

Hi All,


My partner and I have been impressed so far with the quality of the submitted designs and seeing them has helped us further refine what we are after. Following is a list of our preferred features.

- We prefer the logos where the name of the business is integrated into the image, rather than having them side by side. Full on integration is not necessary but some interaction is.

- We really would like more flowing hair in the design to create some lovely curves. I have uploaded some pictures of this for examples.

-A full on black silhouette is too heavy for our design. In trying to appeal to teenagers as well as adults, we need the logo to be fun as well as elegant.

-I'd also like to see a few more designs with borders, I've uploaded a picture of that too.

-Our preferred colour is blue. we're still happy to see other colours in the design, but some blue is necessary.

-Some of the more modern logos have also been to our taste and they have been getting better reactions from our friends and clients in Thailand. So if you have a more fun and funky design then we'd be happy to see that. We just don't want anything ultra-modern and geometric.

Also, please be patient and bear with my long time between responses! My partner is in Thailand and the time difference makes it difficult for us to talk about these logos often. In order to make up for this, I will extend the deadline a little to give you more time to make alterations.
