Brief de Web Design

I am an interior decorator (mainly for children's rooms) - my blog is www.littleliberty1.blogspot.com - I already have a logo which I'm happy with so you would need to work around this. I am wanting to create a modern chic looking website to showcase my completed rooms. The look I want is clean, fresh with colors grey, white, and grey linen - some examples from Shutterstock (just put number into the keyword search) ....

Obviously I would need functionality that would allow me to go into the backend myself and change photo's and categories and sub categories. I also need to be able to link to my blog. I am happy to have the web design satisfied first and then negotiate a sum for coding after.

A website that I'm fond of for it's catergories and feel is http://www.andrikaking.com/portfolio/detail/pink_green_modern for the look and functionality and catergories (although for my front page I would probably just want my logo and then go into something like this for the second page).
I also LOVE LOVE LOVE the look and feel of sisi and marley -http://sissyandmarley.com/ - I like how it has 3 aspirational photo's to set the mood. Some examples (and you may be able to find some nicer ones) for this would be a pic of a child in black and white (I have attached two cute ones of one of my kids) then a cool mobile - http://static.zoovy.com/img/hangingm/W300-H300-Bffffff/F/flolephant149.jpg, and one other? maybe a knitted pouf http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_poZzrV_LyU4/TFbTxSByuGI/AAAAAAAAE2A/MpSPdcnioZM/s1600/knitted+grey.png - I also love the chevron stripe on their blog - maybe I could incorporate this in white and grey neat to my logo? http://blog.sissyandmarley.com/

I will have ONLY professional photo's up on the website whereas my blog will be more casual with photo's that I have taken. I want the overall feel to be CHIC and MODERN.
