Brief de Design de Logo

Color Block is an all-natural colored sunblock made on Maui. It is organic, water resistant, colorful and fun! We want our logo to be clean, fun, and professional and also represent our slogan, “Rock the Block.”

We have some branding ideas that will really help us stand out and set us apart. We would like to use a block theme across our business. We have made a small prototype of a block idea we have. that we hope to use for all our packaging, promotional “color cube” beach balls, and such. We have used neon colors that we hope will help us stand out and display a fun, active lifestyle brand... We have used a black with the neon to make it pop and look professional. The neon colors we have used are neon green, neon orange, neon aqua and neon pink, but we are open to whatever you think is best creatively as well. We tried black and white checkered with it, but we think we may like each side to be a neon color with black outline instead but are open to what our designer thinks and comes up with.

One of our favorite logos is the monkey from the sunscreen Sun Bum and how “Sun Bum” is represented in their logo. We like how it blends together nicely and goes with their theme.

We use this example because we would really like a logo that matches our theme and really helps with marketing. We would also like “Rock the Block” to have its own logo or special font that goes well with how “Color Block” comes out as a logo.

We also like the logo that is from beatbox beverages. Check it out at beatboxbeverages.com They had their logo done on design crowd and we love it! We love the colors and cleanness of it, and how it goes well on their packaging.

This is a lifestyle brand that targets surfing, skating, paddling, outdoors sports, children, moms, and all beach goers and outdoor enthusiasts.

We will also need a website and packaging, in which we will also do design crowd to achieve what we are looking for. Ideally, it would be really nice to find a designer that can do all three and work with us on many other projects, but it isn’t completely necessary.

For our display boxes for stores, we will have a box like the picture. We will have the neon colors on the outside and the black and white checkered on the top and bottom or just all neon colors outlined in black.This will help us really build our brand through brand repetition.

For the logo, we would like something that will work with this idea yet the logo could be this idea of the box and we could go simpler for our display even. Or the logo could be really simple and we could use these neon color box design just for the packaging. But then again we go back to the idea of the monkey from SunBum and we sure do love how it stands out and markets itself. So truly at the end of the day we would love something that really catches the consumer like that.

We would also like our packaging to be something like the picture we attached. So hopefully that helps when designing the logo.
Of all the colors, we would probably prefer the background to be lime green to have the logo go on or it could be black and white also. We'd love to see both versions.

I have attached a picture of the black matte tubes we will be putting the colored sunblock in (these are just an ex. we bough from the store). Our real ones are similar but on there way here from China. We will be using neon stickers to go around the tube like the box prototype (or having them screen printed but probably stickers to start), that I have pictured here as well. We really want our logo to pop and stand out to consumers.

One of our business partners, thinks it may even look nice to have COLOR BLOCK in bright neon colors simply on the tube like Sonia Kashuk has on their tube on the website. It's just another idea of what we like and think may look great. We would have it screen printed on instead of doing the label idea, which would be a lot easier.

We attached the sun bum logo, go pro logo and beatbox logo, 3 of our favorites that inspire us. They are very different, but we love how both really catch the consumers eye.
