Brief de Design de Logo

We are establishing a new service where we are providing cloud-based services (backup, dropbox, calendars, mail, collaboration software) to small and medium business.
The product is named CloudLocale
It competes with all the other cloud services that are out there, but has one major differenciator - that is, that the data storage is physically located in the same town or region as the business. It then has the advantage that the customer can still readily get their data, even if their internet connectivity has failed.

This service will be franchised out to other providers so that the 'local' aspect can be replicated in multiple communities.

The logo needs to be simple, and memorable.

I would prefer to do something different to the usual cloud scribble which 99% of cloud services incorporate in their logo.
