I'm seeing a lot of great designs! It will take me a while to give feedback, but I'll give a few general thoughts here.

First, the themes "interaction" and "iteration" are coming out as most important for Act8. I've seen some people playing with arrows in the "A" to indicate interaction and some playing with the "8" to indicate iteration. These are great ideas. Don't limit yourselves to this, though. There might be much better ideas out there.

Second, I've seen some people showing designs that hint at graphic design or layout. That's not really what I'm offering.

Finally, while I've seen some awesome and creative stuff, try to make the name "Act8" clearly readable. Some the submitted designs are visually compelling but don't clearly communicate the name, so I have ruled them out.

Thanks everyone for your work. I'll give as much individual feedback as I can, but designs are coming faster than I expected, so I might not be able to give as much as I'd like.

Here's another thought: The best design I saw today had a small graphic of a hand interacting with something on a small screen. I didn't think this could be done in a simple way, but this designer managed to do it. That's a good example of communicating "interaction."

Hi everyone. You guys are making making a lot of stuff. I'm seeing some beautiful abstract stuff today, but I'm holding out for something that communicates "people interacting with computers" or "iterative design" in a concrete way. "User interface prototyping" would be another interesting thing to communicate, if you're feeling blocked with the other themes.

I'll try to upload some images for inspiration in the next few days. You guys take a rest.

Thanks to everyone who has submitted. I have sought feedback on the first round of designs, and it looks like I need to focus my instructions a bit. I have made three big changes.

First, I have updated the project with the following must haves: "Logo must communicate one or both of the themes "user interaction" (preferred) or "iteration". If you’re looking for inspiration for the interaction theme, look at the attached TouchInterations images or any of the images on [Non image link removed]If you’re looking for inspiration for the iteration theme, look at the attached Iteration images."

Second, I have specified that I am only looking for Pictorial/Combination type logos.

Finally, I have added an optional subtitle for the logo text: "Interaction Design and User Experience Design Consulting."

Thanks again for your hard work. I hope these revised instructions will help you to focus your efforts in a productive way.
