Brief de Design de Logo

Ecovate is excited about PROCUREMENT and passionate about the ENVIRONMENT.

Ecovate is the brand under which commercially focussed professionals collaborate to provide clients with extraordinary innovation from a financial and ecological perspective while reducing economic impact. The company has a HQ office in England and a regional office in South Africa. More specifically our service offerings include:

Key Words that the Logo Design should reflect or consider (not literally in writing but in design type) are:
Professional Management Solutions & Energy Efficiency Solutions

The logo should be able to stand on its own, as well as be used in conjunction with the company name. We accordingly would like to request "two versions":
1. Just the logo
2. The logo with the company name in writing next to it or underneath it or above it

With regards to the shape of the logo, keep in mind that we use it in PowerPoint Presentations (in for example the right hand corner of slides), as well as centred in Word Documents so the shape should allow for that.

Other considerations:
- Ecovate likes a clean, modern look and feel for its corporate identify which we are currently updating. The logo accordingly needs to have a clean look - flat design and modern lines.
- The logo should consider the current trends in terms of design and pull from these, but at the same time needs to be timeless as far as possible.
- The font used for the writing should be similar to for example (meaning the design version of) Century Gothic in terms of it being thin, simple but stylish and professional. We do not want a font similar to Times New Roman and do not want fat bold writing.
- The logo should be simple and easily recognisable. It accordingly needs to be unique.
- We like the concept of having a logo that can change color – like the Apple and Nike Logos. That said, as a starting point we like the modern colors used in the attached pic. So feel free, but not obliged, to pull from them. We ideally do not want a red or orange logo though.

Note that we are not providing a copy of our current logo since we want to move away from the old logo and start with a completely new logo.
