Brief de Design de Logo

As executives from the old and declining newspaper industry we set up a new business called Southgate Media. We chose this name as our former newspaper business was based in a suburb called Southgate. You could say we were thumbing our noses at our former employer. Southgate Media is passionate about digital disruptive technologies and we consider ourselves a boutique investment and advisory firm to help digital start ups succeed.

We have subsequently successfully founded a digital startup that is currently going global and we want to replicate this formula. Our support to digital start ups includes direct consultancy and advisory services improving their business/commercial models, workshopping early ideas into shape, matching start ups to strategic investors or a simple coffee as a mentor. We are based in Melbourne Australia.

The main use for this initial logo will be for business cards and email signatures. When we develop our website in coming months we would like to use this logo and extend the colour scheme to match.

We would love the logo to be fun and energetic.
