Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design we can use for sign writing ,work shirts ,letter heads and business cards ect.
I would like a logo that looks modern and clean.Im open to any ideas from experts (your the designer).
All I need is for my company name Cotts Plumbing to be in the logo with a neat eye catchy design people will recognise as my logo.
Some other designs I have seen which I like are :
Shiny water drop symbols.
Water drop with a wave of 3 different colours and a cog or gear like design with the drop.
Water drop with a silhouette of a wrench or tap in the drop with a C shape pipe around one side of the drop.Again making the pipe look 3D with the Shine effect.
These are all logos I have seen and liked but cannot use as they are other peoples.
I really like the look of designs which have that shine/3D look about them.
