Brief de Design de Poster
I need key art that can be used in a variety of iterations to promote a theatrical production of Jon Robin Baitz’s adaptation of HEDDA GABLER by Henrik Ibsen. This is a landmark work of drama that takes place in the very late 19th Century. For more information, consult http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hedda_Gabler
“Returning from their honeymoon, George and Hedda Tesman begin to settle into their new life together. With the return of Eilert Lovborg, George’s academic nemesis, the couple’s relationship unravels amidst whispered secrets, professional disappointments, and a startling realization of what life truly holds for Hedda as George’s wife. Passion and rivalries flare in this new adaptation by Jon Robin Baitz, who breathes new life into Ibsen’s classic tale with an interpretation of Hedda unlike any other.”
While the initial project is an 11"x17" poster, I need the essential design elements to be able to be replicated on a direct mail card, in email blitzes, etc.
This is a serious drama. We would like a highly graphic poster that does not attempt to tell the story.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: We ran out of time and were unable to provide feedback. Things around here are very busy. We'd like to extend this contest to hopefully get a few more designs and provide feedback in the next day or two to those designs that we are considering as of now.

I want to try to get darker in terms of the design. Something that is going to be more compelling to our average patron. Can we play with the cleaning of the pistol. It is clear in the script that Hedda loves her guns and would care greatly for them, so I want to play with the guns and the accessories that may go along with the guns of the period.
