Brief de Design de Carte de Visite

we need a business card design for a new yoga business based in sydney and called sydneYoga (one word, small 's' and capital 'Y' joining the two words to one word) and will serve corporation and professional sport groups in Sydney, Australia.

sydneYoga vision is to bring the positive impact of yoga to corporations and large groups for the mutual benefit of the organization and its employees and to illuminate the benefits of this ancient practice of yoga for those who are not familiar with its practical application in busy-fast-hectic modern life.

For the corporate world - to bring the positive impact of yoga to corporations, for the mutual benefits of the organization and its employees, to reduce stress level, experience more enjoyable work environment and increase innovation, mental focus and business results.
For Sport Groups and athletes – to help professional athletes and dancer improve their abilities, prevent sports injuries, strengthen their bodies, maintain a strong, flexible healthy body and energize their minds. The overall impact will be to enhance performance through focused minds and more effective bodies.

We are not sure if to separate between corporate and sports teams or somehow combine between the two?!

we were thinking of something like Sydney sky line in the background and to play with the letter Y that join the word "sydneY" and the word "Yoga" in the logo......

Would like to state that the type of yoga is Hatha yoga, which is very slow, relaxing, meditative practice and the true original teachings point to it being the union of mind, body and spirit. Yoga is not a sport. It is not a “workout”. You are not attempting to break into a big sweat and the goal is not to lose weight! Good health and a flexible, strong body are just bonus side effects. Peace of mind is the real endgame!

Dear designers 

I feel I should give more details about my 'needs' and 'want' from the design.

I do want to see some aspect of the Sydney, the city, but not as a photo (like a sketch of Sydney sky-line with the Harbour Bridge, Opera House and all the icons of this amazing city) and some aspect of yoga, which is my service and both of the words are actually my business name!

My preferred colors are purple and sky-blue.

I wrote it in my brief - yoga is a union and my vision is to bring yoga (peace of mind, relaxation, calmness) to the busy-hectic world of corporate, professional sports teams and large groups.

Dear designers

I have got your submissions and I am very happy .....but...... confused!!!! I have few options that I am considering and it is very hard to decided when you all so talented.

I am sorry I am not replying to your last submissions, im off for the whole weekend and have no access to the web. This is the reason I extended the project in 4 days. 

Will be back Monday to make up my mind.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: Dear designers I got some "last minute" designs and variations and I find it very hard to decide between all the designs I have. you all talented and very very perceptive with the concept. I wish I could choose five! (-: I created a voting poll and shared it between my friends and family so they can help me make up my mind, so I will give them another 2 days to vote and they will submit my decision.
