Brief de Design de Logo
Hi, the logo is for a startup called sprout entertainment.
I want something that is timeless and simple (WWF logo simple). I think characters can be kind of cool. I'm optional about having type font but if you can come up with something good that is still simple then by all means. Also feel free to just use "SE" if it can help you, or just do away with it totally if you can represent better that way.
The company promotes singer songwriters and fingerstyle guitarists, who are slightly avant garde and not as mainstream yet, so hopefully the logo has that feel.
The website theme colors are red black and white, so they give sort of an elegant warm, professional feel. The logo should be able to hold its own on such a page, and preferably not be too colorful.
I kind of like the idea of playing around with the word "sprout". Design me a character if you will. Show me what you've got!
*Please provide vector format upon completion along with pixelated format, as high a definition as possible thanks!
*Winning Designer(s) signs over all ownership and reproduction rights of the logo to the buyer. Nonetheless they can display it as part of their portfolio.

Thanks for your submission thus far. They are well-thought. I am looking for something with more 'life', so if the sprout had eyes or was somehow more humanoid that could improve things. Use your discretion of course ; )

P.S. Michelin Man, KFC and WWF are all examples of good 'humanoids' Doesn't necessarily have to be eyes, it could be legs or the whole gamut, but definitely a 'live character' of some sort.

Big Blue Currant's font type is the best so far. I like the 'feel' of it.

Hi Designers,
Excellent work so far. I think that the sprout-man/note/singer/guitar player does not have to be necessarily incorporated within the font. The character can be more prominent than the font, or say bigger than the font. Try to make the character simple, black-white, or with one color, somewhat abstract, easily discerned from far or if the sign is small. Thanks!
