Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for our new retail shop and website store. We will be selling home and giftware that has an eclectic mix of retro and contemporary items.
In terms of store 'feel', and if it helps you with designing the logo, we want our store to have a fresh modern feel that appeals to both genders and a wide range of ages, and to attract a mid to high end buyer. In other words we don't want to appeal just to one age group or to have a cheap store feel.
The logo and name will be used on the store entrance and could be up to 2 metres wide and will also be used on the website.
