Dear Contest Designers for Coffee cup layout!

First of all we would like to thank all of you for the submitted designs. As we had outlined in the design brief this packaging design contest is a mutual project of DrinkPackaging & Allesbecher. Right now we have marked all designs, that we would like take into the next project phase with 4 stars.

During the next phase we will do a fast qualitative market research with a small group of specifically chosen customers from both companies. We have seen that it is difficult to compare designs when different mockups are used (some used it in a hand, some used double-wall instead of single-wall, some used 12oz instead of 8oz cup). We are afraid that market research would be distorted; therefore we have to ask you all 4stars for a little help again.

For the next projects (there are many more to come) we know now, that we should provide the mockup up-front. But as this is the first design-crowd-project that we started we had to learn it in practical use. Our apologies for not knowing…

For project phase 2 we ask all designers to send the layouts marked with 4 stars via E-Mail to design@allesbecher.at:
1) the layout with use of this mockup: [Non image link removed]2) the layout as a flat JPEG or PNG with width x height: 154mm x 92mm in 300dpi.

Pls. send E-Mail until 02.06.2016, 10am CET. In the timeframe 10.-15.06.2016 we will then inform the first 3 places and ask to submit vector data of 1st and 2nd place. If we would also evaluate 3rd place for further consideration we would get in touch with the specific designer and ask for vector data for this one as well (payment to be negotiated in the following).

First thanks for all the work you all did. Even with make the mock-ups, and ofcourse the designs. Again thanks.

We did a research and surveys. We get 500 responses from them, out of 7 countries (most were Austria, Germany and the Netherlands). It was a great lesson for DrinkPackaging Europe and AllesBecher Austria & Germany.

We liked many designs, and in special you, the designers. For 100% sure we gonna use this website more and more often!
