Brief de Design de Logo

I'm looking to get an updated design for a solar energy company that I am doing some marketing for. The existing logo (attached) seems to work on the website, and brochures, but I am looking for something that can be embroidered on corporate clothing, and applied to other promotional products. The company has several products that are solar powered, so, incorporating the sun, or a solar panel into the design would be great. I'm not looking for a huge change, so if the text could still be in blue, that would be helpful. I'd like the logo to be modern looking.
