Brief de Design de Logo

I am looking for a new logo for my 7 year old plumbing and hvac company. The "53" has been my motocross racing number for 20 years. This logo will be displayed on our vans, uniforms, letterhead, etc. I am open to all ideas, whether classic and elegant to bold and progressive. I have attached my existing logo, which isn't terrible, but I feel it could be better. Please feel free to start with a fresh idea for the new logo and/or refine my existing one. I am open to going in a completely different direction from my existing logo.
