Brief de Design de Logo

This will be the main logo for my new non profit consulting firm, Paran Associates, LLC. We want to help those who help others. We specialize in fundraising, but can advise on any aspect of non profit organization administration. I will use this on all sorts of media, from business cards to webpages. I also will eventually get it put on banners, possibly clothing and small give away items such as pens. Paran is the name of the wilderness where the Israelites wandered the majority of the time before they entered the "Promised Land." It is also the land where David sought protection from King Saul. The land of Paran is the home of the Acacia tree, which was used to build the Ark of the Covenant. The Acacia tree is a great shade-type tree, so it could be incorporated into the design. I want something that is simple, yet eye catching. I want it to be easily transferrable to all sorts of media and canvas, It should look as good on a shirt or ball cap as it does on a banner or letterhead. The simpler the colors, the better.

UPDATE: We have seen great pictures incorporating the Acacia tree, now we want to just see our name and/or initials with possibly some sort of symbol. No more trees. If a symbol is placed with our name, we'd like for the symbol to be separable from our name, a "short" logo if you will.
