Geek chic T-shirt Design - WiFi HOT SPOT!
Add your question or comments below
Hey,
Thanks for the invite. I just have a few questions:
1. Even though it does have a sexual connotation with the arrow, I suppose it should be kept G-rated, so to speak?
2. When I first read the headline, I thought the idea was to create a t-shirt for Geek Chicks, haha, but I suppose 'Chic' is referring to french word of 'stylish', and this t-shirt would be aimed at the general market?
3. I see that just over 2 days is given for the project, so it would be something I would have to work on now. Is there a reason it's not guaranteed??
Cheers,
Simon
Hi Simon, thanks for responding. Yes, G-Rated is good! My point was I didn''t want anything explicit, no explicit graphics or anything like that. The arrow pointing down is the only "suggestive" part.
2. Yeah..geek chic, not geek chicks :) though that''s a demographic too. It doesn''t necessarily have to be aimed at the general market - I think the majority of our audience understands what wifi and hotspots are. But I am open to any and all ideas, so you have creative freedom here of course.
3. I''m going to extend the contest to 5 days. ... I didn''t have much luck on my last contest, which I did guarantee and got burned (didn''t care for the design quality and lack of submissions) so I am a little hesitant, but I will extend. I may guarantee it later on, but not at this time.
Thanks
Fair enough, I do understand your concern, and I do know what you mean by getting burnt. I think I speak on behalf of everyone here, when I say there are some clients who simply run off with the money, regardless of how long people had spent on their designs...but I'll definitely work on this one. I have a few ideas already... :)
Cheers
Simon, your prayers have been answered. I guaranteed the project - mostly because I''ve received a couple designs that I actually like enough to award as the winner. So hopefully you and other designers find motivation in this.
Thanks
Chris
