If any of the designers are going to use the Android Robot, just remember that it is property of Google - When using the Android Robot or any modification of it, proper attribution is required under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution license:

The Android robot is reproduced or modified from work created and shared by Google and used according to terms described in the Creative Commons 3.0 Attribution License.

Just a heads up -it's okay to use, but you must use the above...so maybe not a good idea for a logo.
