How about BRAIN (Brain Research After Injury Network)?

This is very clever but although its an acronym I think it runs the risk of being seen as not an acronym - and as there are many other "brain" centres (such as the "mind and brain" centre at the next University down the road, it might get lost. I like your thinking though!
