Brief de Design de Logo
I needed a logo designed for a new business.
The company is an investment firm that invests in liquor forward restaurants/bars/lounges. The initial fund will be focused on opportunities and operators in the San Francisco Bay Area, but down the line, could invest in other cities in the United States.
The name of the company is "Proof Positive". Proof, obviously, implying the fund's liquor focus, so essentially "Proof Positive" would suggest that alochol is present. Alcohol proof in the United States is defined as twice the percentage of alcohol by volume. Consequently, 100-proof whiskey contains 50% alcohol by volume; 86-proof whiskey contains 43% alcohol.
However, Proof Positive is also an expression that means "Absolutely true"... suggesting we are confident in who we invest in.
