Brief de Design de Logo

The terms of reference for the change of name and logo of the company ELNA Kabel Ltd. Zagreb (www.elna.hr)

Introduction
The company “ELNA Kabel” has been founded 18 years ago and during this period it has almost completely changed its scope of business, which is the reason why we want to changes name and logo. Cables supply isn't longer main business activity, and the old name has become inappropriate for the presentation of the company.
Today the company is active in two main areas:
 Fiber optic business:
a) FTTH network turn-key solutions (concept, design, production of ODF systems and construction)
b) Fiber optic projects (supply of fiber optic cables & OPGW, equipment, accessories and appliances)
 Power:
a) Projects in electrical distribution and transport (sales, production and installation of equipment)
b) Energy efficiency (LED, solar power plants)
c) components for Smart grid & Smart metering systems
TASK
Design a logo and overall visual identity in accordance with its new activities.
1. The name of the new company is just ELNA. Word “Kabel” is no longer in use.
2. Company should have two brands for two business areas: a) ELNA FIBER, b) ELNA POWER
3. Proposal of new design should in some way have clearly visible roots in an old logo, meaning that it should grow from it in an evolutionary way. Company long time partners and customers must perceive the change as something that is natural and smooth.
4. New logo design should function well with each of listed brands (FIBER and POWER), as well as with new brands representing new activities company could engage in in the future.
