The Vector design seen in the logo provided has differences than what''s on the pages you have just provided...And...The K(which actually shows a KAC blended into one) is pretty original as well.  I believe the design as a whole has enough originality to be acceptable.

That is up to you to decide. The submission agreement on the other hand requires all works to be original creations. If you see the first link provided, the main splat and all drippings are copy paste elements with a "K" overlay. This is not original. basically, the designer should have drawn all elements from scratch. This logo can easily be traced to it's rightful owner by simply dragging it into Google images ( http://www.google.com/insidesearch/features/images/searchbyimage.html ). This is a direct copyright infringement because the artwork is already owned by another entity. Feel free to try this for yourself. In addition, there are numerous other violations in this designers portfolio that can potentially lead to businesses (like yours) ending up in copyright lawsuit battles. The violation is clear, the work is not original. Copyright does not allow adding a "K" over a protected image as an acceptable right to ownership.
