Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo for A london based Holistic lifestyle coaching and Personal Develpment company called 'Progressive Self' We have 2 sides to the business:
1- we are an online shop selling health supplements, super foods and personal development books, cd's and dvd's
2- We consult clients and specialise in treating the dis-function or the dis-ease as opposed to the symptoms.

Please bare the meaning of the word in mind whilst designing;

PROGRESSIVE:

1. favoring or advocating progress, change, improvement, or reform, as opposed to wishing to maintain things as they are

2. making progress toward better conditions; employing or advocating more enlightened or liberal ideas, new or experimental methods,

SELF:

1. a person's essential being that distinguishes them from others, especially considered as the object of introspection or reflexive action.

2. One’s particular nature or personality; the qualities that make one individual or unique:

3. a person or thing referred to with respect to complete individuality

4. a person's nature, character, etc.

Progressive self:

1. Continuous progress, change, or improvement taking one in the direction of better conditions for their essential being.

2. Continuous progress, change, and improvement for the betterment of ones complete individuality.

3. Progress, change, and improvement in one’s particular nature, personality or character.

We have lots of ideas and will upload images for you. we want to convey.

my original thought was an image of a head with images of growth / progression / develpment in the brain area.

The Triskellion is in a nutshell, the triskelion Celtic symbol meaning deals with competition and man's progress.
First Component:
When we observe this symbol, we are taken with the concept of motion. All three branches (legs, protrusions, angles) are positioned in such a way so as to make the symbol appear as if it is in constant forward motion.
Aspects of the triskele, the 3 legs represent:
Personal growth
Human development
Spiritual expansion

With the triskele i was thinking maybe each leg culd be a 'P'. Also i like image 8 as it als looks like a yin yang sign but isnt but looks clean and fresh

Hand Print - Symbol of a human's life, achievements and legacy, the creative spirit, channeled energy.
I was playing with the idea of maybe having a 'PS' or a triskele or the 3 keys in the palm vey faint as though part of the hand print to represent that you hold the keys to Personal growth/
Human development/Spiritual expansion
1) wealth, 2) health, 3) love.

Keys: Three keys worn together are said to unlock the doors of 1) wealth, 2) health, 3) love.

Also pls see image of 2 men standing back to back. we like the idea of one man looking like caveman holding spear and the other a modern day man holding and reading a book. it only has to be an outline of the 2 peple and can look like one.

I have tried to be as helpful as possible however i am not creative and am torn with a prefered type of logo I dont want to come across to spiritual in nature but could hint at it yet i want the logo to look young, fresh, dynamic indicating growth on any level health, spiritual, human, personal. A logo incorporating any of what has been mentioned or even a mixture but Please bare in mind that you do not have to use any of the ideas given if you have a better idea that conveys what we are trying then please be brave and go ahead.
