Three Bridges
At Three Bridges, we hand craft fresh foods that nourish your soul. No preservatives, no flavorings, nothing artificial, and never frozen. Join the path to our three bridges: simple recipes, better ingredients, and honest food. From refrigerator to tableside in only a few minutes, eating well has never been so easy.

Target Market
Our target market is described as the “Mindful Eater”. They make discerning choices that balance the health credentials of food versus their other needs such as indulgences, convenience, and value. The Mindful Eater is well-informed and has a high, perceived knowledge about food. They are willing to pay premiums for food, and purchase natural and organic products. The mindful eater:
• Crosses ages and demographics.
• Higher income and higher educated.
• Extends from single to smaller households.

Competition
Buitoni is the leader in the fresh pasta category. Recognized as traditional Italian food, it is appeals towards families and families with kids.
Giovanni Rana is a recent player in the fresh pasta category. They are the #1 pasta brand in Italy, and are positioned as traditional old-word Italian chef, with artisanal flavors.

Current Three Bridge’s Brand Position
Three Bridges is currently positioned as a brand of chef-crafted, palate expanding, and eco-friendly packaged refrigerated food. From our website:
“At Three Bridges, we are guided by a deep and unending passion for Chef-Crafted Recipes that will surprise and delight your palate. Taking care of the Earth is essential and we take that responsibility seriously. These ideals inspire us to create foods that awaken the palate and feed the soul. Three Bridges is the brand of fresh, refrigerated foods that positively energizes your meal routine because it’s insanely great, palate expanding, accessible solutions.”

Three Bridges Repositioning Opportunity
Three Bridges is changing our brand position. The best way to start describing the new brand is by wiping away all existing and preconceived notions about Three Bridges. Everything. The new brand begins with this story:

“All too often we have to make choices between eating well and having the free time to spend with family or pursue our interests. We would all prefer making homemade meals from scratch, however, the hours it takes to shop for fresh produce, wash, cook, and clean, just aren’t practical in our busy lives. And unfortunately the more we try to save time by buying “fresh” ready-made meals from the supermarket, the more processed food full of preservatives, hormones, and antibiotics we fill our bodies with.
At Three Bridges, we make it easy to eat well within the constraints of our busy lives. Our refrigerated products are made with simple ingredients you would find at home. Our recipes have no preservatives, no hormones, and no antibiotics. Nothing artificial and never frozen. And all ready from refrigerator to your dinner table within minutes. Honest food that nourishes your body and soul.”

Objective & Timing
The package design is one of the most important elements to tell our brand story. It’s the first interaction for our consumer with Three Bridges and will also be the blueprint for our website, social media, and advertising graphics.

Develop one package design that effectively tells our brand story to our target consumer.
- Include a written paragraph for the design that explains your approach and how the various design elements effectively communicate the story.
- The design must be a distinct approach
- Use existing packaging die-line provided (149mm width x 192mm height)
- Design is open to any kind of packaging material: labels, film, sleeves, box, etc.
- Altering the logo to support each approach is encouraged, however the brand must stay “Three Bridges”
- Do not need to include regulatory and required elements such as package weight
- Front label only
- The look and feel of the packaging is up to you, but should tell Three Bridge's brand story and resonate with our target market.
