Brief de Design de Logo

We are in need of a logo redesign for Southernmost Illinois. We are currently involved in rebranding and would like to use the logo as the starting point.
Our primary focus is to serve all tourism related businesses in the Southernmost Illinois area. We are the official tourism bureau for ten counties.
We would like to see the following influences impact the design-
Shawnee National Forest – Our counties offer lots of forest related activities and the logo should reflect that.
Wine trail – We have several different and very popular wine trails in southern Illinois and would like to see some influences from this too.

The selection process will be done by a committee and not one individual. FEEDBACK WILL BE SPARSE AND SLOW. We want to strongly encourage designers to submit multiple versions if they feel another design\version maybe more appealing than the original.

We expect to be provided with the original artwork in the native format that was used to create the logo but also the following versions. We also expect to receive related TrueType Fonts used to create the works.
Full color, Large Format - JPG, EPS, PDF, PNG & Vector format (AI, CDR, etc.)
Black in White, Large Format - JPG, EPS, PDF, PNG & Vector format (AI, CDR, etc.)
