Brief de Design de Logo

Logo design for small consulting firm in Bay Area that provides high end data privacy consulting services to companies (and governments). Data privacy consulting brings together the protection of data (personal information), information security and trust (that is, building consumer/customer trust for companies). Modern/clean lines, please. No characters or legal indicia (scales, gavel, etc.) and definitely no padlocks! Please do not emphasize the alliteration (PP). I’d like something that conveys data and technology, in a strategic, sophisticated and solutions-oriented way.
I like the font Century Gothic, and want to use a specific green, grey and a bit of black if needed. (see current business card photo attached). One possible design is also attached (wrong font is used; this was just a draft mock-up), but I'm open to other ideas to represent the protection of data.
