Brief de Design de Logo

business name: The Laundry Maids

I would like something that appears clean and bright or to be completely different, if it looks tasteful, a sexy French style maid, as we are The Laundry Maids. Apart from the main logo. you should also include ‘Laundrette’ in large letters as this will be used for signwriting. I will need the final design supplied as an EPS file (vectors).

Preliminary feedback from client:

If I have a ‘maid’ in the logo, my thoughts were it will be a side on silhouette emphasising bust, bum, long legs, hair up, and frilly apron outline, holding or hanging out a piece of washing.

Alternatively, Please see attached, for my initial attempts. We have since decided on ‘Laundrette’ not ‘Laundromat’.

After speaking to our sign writer, he has advised red will stand out best against the bottle green of the shop facade, although that would not be my initial preference, he states that it will stand out the best. The other shops already use blues and greens in their signage. So I think red will be the background for the sign at this stage, so the logo will have to be seen on that. I suppose though, for the sign, the logo outline can be in white and on-line and business cards, we can use colours??
