Brief de Design de Logo

Hi, I need a logo for my new business.My primary work is Electrical Contracting and maintenance for domestic commercial agricutural and industrial, but I also carry out property maintenance as well. I need a logo / design, suitable for business cards, invoicing, vehicle graphics,embroidery for workwear etc. With a previous electrical business, I used gold text with dark blue background, and less important text being dark blue, this was chosen around the design of a gold lightning bolt. I am happy to consider any colour combinations which look good together. As the design is likely to be used for several applications, I would suggest it needs to be relatively simple.
