Brief de Web Design
Here is your chance to get creative. The Sahtu Renewable Resources Board wish to redevelop their site. The SRRB is the main instrument of wildlife and forestry management in the Sahtu Settlement Area. They wish to create a unique looking site.
I’ve attached a hand drawn layout (srrbwebsiteidea_march....jpg) and also the site map (Website Site Map.pdf). For the hand drawn layout, in the center we will be creating a mouse over area. I’ve attached the graphic (srrbwebsite_drawing...jpg). Please use the graphic in your design - simply include the graphic in the center. You don't need to do any other revisions to the drawing.
The handdrawn layout shows icons above the menu items. Please ignore that and don’t include icons.
Be creative in your design. Use the logo and the graphic to inspire the other design elements, for example background treatment, colours, header treatment, etc. For the facebook icon try to make it look cartoony to fit in with the logo and centre graphic.
For the menu, we want a drop down menu. Secondary pages will include a side navigation. Please provide a home page for review and the secondary page will be finalized with the winning designer.

I realized I hadn't attached a graphic I referenced in the write up and this caused alot of confusion. I've added the graphic and revised the project brief to reference the file names of the attached files. Hopefully this clears up some confusion.
Regarding the graphic srrbwebsite_draft4.jpg. I just want to be clear, you only need to paste the image in the centre of the website design. Basically put it in the content area.
