Brief de Design de Logo

New logo design for Wstrn Canada's largest graphics mfg co. 71st year (est 1945). We are soon to move into our state of the art 110,000 sq ft plant. We mfr on a digital (inkjet), 3D and screen print platforms and serve the Fleet, Retail (POS), Architectural, Regulatory (Safety), Promotional, and Event Signage markets. 130 full time staff. We like color and our logo and/or name should be full of it. Orange is a color that has been used in our logo in the past. We also like movement so a logo with motion is envisioned. Perhaps a wave, spinning wheel or ? We would like our logo to be able to stand on its own and be used independently of the name. Our current logo is Black, Silver and white. We have previously added a band of color specific to each of the markets we serve. We are thinking that Cowan Graphics Inc could become simply Cowan Ink! or maybe even just Cowan with a tag line like Graphics Solutions, Signage Solutions, Branding Solutions, or ? We are looking for a min 10 year life with the logo so need to be a bit conservative so it will stand the test of time. The final design should communicate confidence, maturity, and innovation.

• we like innovation, we like to be creative but conservative given age of company. Logo must be able to survive a 10+ year life. Would be great to incorporate an added element that we could apply independently to each market we serve. (ie color or ?)
