Brief de Design de Mascotte

Project name and description:
“Cool Content Cat” mascot illustration needed. We want an illustrated cartoon cat for use in messaging.

Goal:
To have a mascot that can stand out from the emails/messaging our employees are subject to on a daily basis. To add a fun, lighthearted aspect to the messaging and associated with Marketing’s request for content ideas.

**Note: If you don't receive feedback from me quickly it is because I'm allowing a few day between each round of feedback, and I like to go over some with others in the department - I will get back to you though, thanks!**

We are using Cool Content Cat for internal communication to encourage employees to contribute content ideas to the marketing department. The content contributions will then be considered for use on the web, in infographics, whitepapers etc. At this time Cool Content Cat will ONLY be used internally and will not be part of any content that our customers and prospects see. We want to have our employees excited to contribute. We want Cool Content Cat to resonate with them. We want them to look forward to the next installment of Cool Content Cat!

Age-wise the audience for Cool Content Cat is largely comprised of people who fit into “Generation X” (60%), followed by the “Millennials” (32%) and then “Baby Boomers” (8%).

Exigences

• • The art should be vector, with the ability for us to change elements in house after the art is finalized on the your end. Please keep this in mind with any addition of clothing, hats, shoes etc. They should be independent of the cat itself so they can be removed, re-colored etc. If he has glasses, they should be removable with his eyes in place underneath for example.
• • Ultimately upon final art - We want the following initial 5 poses:
• a. Standing, arms in a shrugged, questioning pose
• b. Standing, arms crossed
• c. Standing, arms on hips
• d. Standing, thumbs up and winking
• e. Sitting on a chair
• **Note - For your first round submission you do not have to provide every pose, though ideally I would like to see at least 2 poses so I know my expectation of multiple poses will be met, message me with any questions**
• • This should be a male domesticated house cat. Some of the ideas we’ve thought up are that he’s cool, hipster, flannel shirt, perhaps a long haired cat that appears to have a beard… with glasses that are removable. Hat that is removable etc. He should be happy!
• • We are also open to what the illustrator/artist comes up with that would be seen as a cool, hip cat. Cool Content Cat should be unique and memorable!
• • More cartoon-like vs abstract
• Additional notes:
• If you’re illustration submission is chosen, we may come back to you for additional versions of Cool Content Cat depending upon our needs. Please be aware of that when you submit. We will need to know how much you would charge for additional designs outside of the initial submission as part of this project.
