Brief de Design de Logo

I am a public speaker and deliver many talks and speeches at conferences, dinners and board meetings.
One of my current topics is the rise of exponential technology and the effect it is having on society, economies and things like work, commerce, medicine, and traditional governmental structures.
I am looking for a logo that can be used in conference programmes, as a backdrop to presentations and something that captures the idea of the effect of these changes and the potential advent of a second renaissance. The design will need to be multifunctional as a result.
There may also be some ideas that come as a result of the design process that suggest other images that would be useful to incorporate in the wider context of the subject.
The use of the Fibonacci Sequence is an idea but I'm not wedded to it. The color purple and maybe with orange?
