Brief de Design de Logo

We are an R&D start-up specializing in unconventional solutions to common problems. Our symbol, the scaly dragonfish, is a rare bioluminescent fish found in the deepest part of the ocean, the Mariana Trench. We need a logo that is simple yet thought provoking: It should:
1) Capture our unique approach to solving problems (Like the Mariana Trench, we search for solutions where no one else looks and find answers others overlook
2) Illustrate the evocative and dynamic nature of the scaly dragonfish,

Dragonfish is:
Modern but not abstract
Inventive but not absurd
Witty but not whimsical

I attached pictures of the fish as well as some design "ideas" that have "caught my eye". DO NOT USE these as major components of the design. We prefer designs in black, red, blue, white or a combination thereof. No more than 2 colors + white in the design.
