I would like to thank everyone who has already submitted a design and to also thank those who have this contest on their watch-list who will hopefully submit a design. The designs we are receiving reflect a very diverse and talented group of designers. At this rate, we are contemplating offering a 2nd and/or maybe even a 3rd place.

I am sending this same message to ALL designers who submitted designs to us, and I will send this same message to any new designers who submit designs before this contest ends.

We have been receiving many different styles of art designs from different designers. We like a lot of the designs and it will be hard to choose between them. So, I spoke with DesignCrowd and they said, that as long as a designer agrees to it, then I can offer 4th through 11th places instead of participation payments. (It would be sort of like a second chance for your design to win if it is not chosen for 1st, 2nd or 3rd place.)

Here is what I am proposing:
4th = $80 USD
5th = $70 USD
6th = $60 USD
7th = $60 USD
8th = $50 USD
9th = $50 USD
10th = $40 USD
11th = $40 USD

DesignCrowd said the designer would have to agree to this payment schedule in exchange for art handover, and that the designer would have to agree by responding to this message so that there is a record of the agreement.

DesignCrowd said I could offer 4th through 11th places either now or after the contest ends. Since they would still have to set it up for us, I would like to find out how many, if any, designers are interested so I can have DesignCrowd set this up before the contest ends.

I have added the amount necessary for 4th to 11th places. DesignCrowd willl convert what is currently shown as a participation payment into the appropriate amounts for 4th through 11th places.

Once again, I would like to thank all designers for their submissions. We are really pleased with the quality of the art and the different creative expressions.

Also, we plan on doing contests like this fairly often but with different subject matter. (Example: instead of wolves/eagles like this contest, the next contest could be about dragons, or armadillos, or horses, etc...)

Hi... DesignCrowd has informed us (see their exact email at the bottom of this message) that the maximum number of places we can offer are 10-places. We have decided which 10 designs we would like for 1st through 10th place. In addition, there are 12 to 19 other designs we would like to offer as a tie for 11th place. DesignCrowd said they will contact me within the day to let me know how to proceed, and to wait to hear from them before proceeding.

We will wait until we hear from DesignCrowd before posting all winners, as well as the additional 13 designs we are interested in.

I would like to thank all designers for submitting their designs. There is an abundance of talent and creativity, which is why we have/will select so many designs. Some designs were exactly what we were looking for (1st, 3rd, 4th place for instance). Other designs were not what we were originally looking for, but the creativeness of the design was so unique that it changed our mind to consider that type of design (2nd and 8th place for instance). And, many other designs are so unique that we appreciate the time and thinking it took to create them, that we are working with DesignCrowd to see how we can offer a place for or buy them.

In all, there are 22 to 29 pieces of art that interest us.

We will post the winners very shortly.

Regrettably, our Tech Department informed me the project is limited to only 10 winning positions. This is unfortunate and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused as I hoped the project could be adjusted to make these additional winning places.
Because you have used the 10 positions for this current project, all other winners will have to be bought separately.
If you are still interested in purchasing more designs from the project I will show you how to set up Freelance projects with each designer for their design at the agreed upon amount.
