Brief de Design de Logo
NOW BEEN COMMITTED!
We need a logo for our company Print Shetland. The logo should incorporate the company name, ideally the wording should be part of the logo but we will consider a separate logo with the wording underneath.
Print Shetland are based in the Shetland Islands, UK and specialise in sublimation gift printing, wall art, screen printed clothing, merchandise and so on.
As we print so many different items/methods, we are keen to avoid all the usual stereotypical print associated logos so do not want cmyk, ink splats and so on. No mugs, printer images etc. We also don't want a logo that specifically links us to Shetland, we've had these before :-)
We want a clever, modern, professional logo. Not necessarily complicated, simple and clever would work.
We appreciate that this project may not be easy as we're trying to avoid all the usual symbols, ideas etc. This is why we need your clever minds to come up with something that encapsulates the printing industry without being too specific.
Logos have been designed for us before but have always been too specific so we are keen to get it right this time, we'll know what we want when we see it! Hopefully something that can encompass all aspects of printing without being specific.
Logo can be single or multi colour and must work on stationary, website, promotional merchandise (pens etc.)
Please note, whilst we have added logos to this brief as examples, we do not want the ideas duplicating, these are purely to show the type of inspiration that may be required.

We're looking at extending until next Friday, very disappointed at having to do this. Can we please ask that designers read the brief fully before submitting designs, we've been very detailed over what we want'don't want and hate to be critical over submissions but some designers simply aren't reading the brief.
We have stated that we want no Shetland references, no flags, no ponies. We don't want clipart printer images, cmyk anything.
We need something clever, quirky, professional. Simply writing Print Shetland with a line around it or linking P & S together isn't what we want, we can do this ourselves :-)
We've upped the budget considerably and have committed this so no going back!
Really really need you clever designers to pull something out of the hat now.

- A clever twist that may not be immediately obvious, hidden graphic etc.
- MUST HAVE CLEVER TWIST! NO CMYK! We hate to be rude but keep getting cmyk images, PS in boxes etc. and this just isn't what we want. really looking for something quirky, edgy etc.

- Any association to Shetland including Shetlang flag or blue colour.
- Any obvious 'print' inspired graphics, splats, drops etc. No cmyk etc.
- Not keen on simple logos that just have PS without there being a clever link.
