Hi Everyone,

Thanks so much for all the designs to date. I have really appreciated the creativity and enthusiasm around the concepts.

A couple of pieces of feedback that may help

1. Colour wise

 

a white background will work best for our business and the mediums it will be displayed wihin.

b. Would prefer a black/ grey front maybe incorporating some colour.

c. Would prefer the use of red/ green or blue hues for colour in the logo

2. Company and Tagline - Gilkeson Kemp Consulting must all be utilised within the designs. The tagline is really important as well, can be shortened to "Experienced, practical and intelligent solutions"

3. Logo Wise- would really like this to incorporate GSK and be around the idea of bringing the pieces of a business together, cohesion etc.

4. Watermark / Background - some designers have utilised a very light watermark and background. Liked this idea as well

Project Deadline Extended

Hi Everyone,

I have really enjoyed all the fantastic designs and concepts that are being sent through for the project. Going to make my job of making a decision next week quite hard. Thanks for all the hard work to date.

A quick update that needs to be taken into consideration when sending through updated versions of your concepts based on my feedback today

1. After speaking with a marketing and consumer specialist, we have decided not to utilise red hues within the design. Given we are a consulting company, they will be viewed as too "aggressive" within the marketplace. With this in mind, the updated colour palette for all designs should utilise

- black/ grey/ dark green/ blue hues ( no yellow please)

2. Keep in mind also that there are times when we will utilise the "whole version" of the logo for letterhead and on the website and brochures etc, and times when I will need to utilise a condensed version of the logo e.g. powerpoint presentations , email, flyers etc. With this in mind, it would be great if the logos can incorporate "GK" or "GKC" into them so that they are customised when being utilised for this purpose.

Hi Everyone,

I found a copy of the current cube logo that we have been utilising for the business and received pretty positive comments about and updated the brief to include it.

After some discussions with my partner, we would like to continue to incorporate this into the design if possible.

We are going to keep an open mind and consider all designs- there have been some fantastic ones coming through. If this type of cube could be utilised with an imprinted "GK" on the cube faces with some colour we would definately consider this in the mix of concepts as well as a strong contender.

and narrowing it down to a few before I make the decision early next week.
