Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for a brand new pizza restaurant based in Louisiana. The restaurant will feature pizza, salad, po-boys, beignets. We want it to have a Louisiana-feel but also be slick and modern. At this point we plan to use wood floors and brick walls with a touch of terracotta paint, but we are open to different color schemes. We would love to see the fleur de lis or magnolia incorporated in the design to showcase the Louisiana flare.

• Interesting details in the text.... whether it comes from a design with the lettering or lines between words....
• I like the idea of wrought iron....like in the French Quarter
• I'd like to see a few designs using the fleur de Lis as the "t" in Gilbert's.

• Shouldn't be too juvenile or too overworked. We don't want it to look cartoony.
• If you use a pizza as art, it should be subtle....
