Brief de Design de Logo

Hi! Thanks for helping out :)

I'm starting a blog to showcase my writing and I need a consistent logo to go across my browser icon and social media presences. I don't have a super clear idea of what I want in terms of color or the logo itself, but I'm open to considering a wide variety of ideas. Some details I do know as of now:

-I would like to keep in touch with the winning designer to get more work done (Ex: Facebook cover photo) down the line. I used to be a freelancer too, so I promise not to jerk you around
-The blog is named "Freude," which is German for "Joy." I picked this since it's a complicated way of presenting a simple idea, so I'm sort of making fun of my own writing
-I'm 95% sure the Tumblr template will be Fixie (http://fixie.precrafted.com/). The colors are not final; I've got a message in with the designer about how to change them
-I really like simple, abstract logos, but I hate the single-letter ones since they strike me as really cliche. For example, I like the Twitter blue bird logo, but I dislike the Pinterest "P" and Facebook "F" logos.
-I'd like to be able to use different sizes of the same logo across Twitter, FB, Tumblr, etc. If we could get something square or that fits on a square template, that would be ideal
-I included a sample of my writing at the bottom in case that helps provide a jumping off point. I don't expect anyone to read it unless they think it will be helpful, though.

I realize this is all vague, but you'll notice I'm guaranteeing payment, so I'm definitely serious about getting the work done :) Please hit me with any questions!

• Size \ format the logo so that I could basically use different sizes of the same across every social media platform - a 500x500 would be fine since I can easily resize it to a 73x73 for Twitter, a 160x600 just creates work for me.
