Brief de Design de Logo
We are an Australian online gaming clan the requires a fresh new look. By the conduct and disposition of our members, we identify with and are modelled on the French Foreign Legion; an awesome fighting force made up of people from all walks of life.
Current logo is the winged sword of the FFL, and it is a direct copy. We need something of our own....something that is more gamer styled. I am looking for an impressive way of displaying the letters ' Lg' as a logo by itself, or a different representation of our tradional logo (attached), of a roman short sword and a wing, or set of wings.
The resulting logo will be used for team website graphics, forum signatures (internal and external), avatars and quite possibly some printed shirts.

A big thankyou to all the designers who submitted designs :) I am in the process of organising some decent participation payments for quite a number of you as a thankyou for your efforts. My clan members thought all of the designs were very good, and it was difficult to choose in the end, as they all had great potential.

- Our clan tag is -Lg-
Combine the L and the g in any combination and style; as long as it looks good, and represents the clan tag. Include any type of shape or geometry in the logo to enhance its appearance. Use colours associated with the attached image, but make them complementary, and no more than 2. I want to be flexible with colour later, so getting a good 2D design independent of colour is priority.
Must use the letters L and g, or L and G. I would prefer L and g though.
Bien d'avoir
- Make use of a winged sword image somehow, as part of the logo design. Out of this, we aim to represent the roman short sword of the legionnaire and a wing/ set of wings. Our old logo is attached. See if you can do better.
Ne doit pas comporter
- The design should not use old-style, serif fonts like Times New Roman.
No grunge styles please. sharp clean lines only.
