Brief de Design de Logo
We need a logo design for a new company based in Maryland called "Norseman Consulting" or just "Norseman". We are a company that provides management and technology consulting services to public safety organizations (fire, police, EMS), disaster recovery and relief organization (i.e. the American Red Cross), and U.S. Federal law enforcement and emergency response/preparedeness organziations (i.e. the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Secret Service, FEMA).
We are a business that is owned and operated by military veterans, many of which are considered experts in their respective fields. The majority of our veteran employees come from the special operations community and/or served in elite public safety units during their careers. They represent the best of the best. We are the company that our clients call when they need a subject matter expert to help them solve a problem that they cannot address themselves.
We chose our company name because of it's association with the Vikings of Scandinavia. Our company's founder is Scandinavian and he wanted a company name that captured the warrior spirit and tradition of our employees; communicated strength, courage, and perserverence to our clients; and created the foundation for a bold brand in our industry.
We would like to see a design that really brings forward the characteristics described above. We are looking for a design that is conservative, uses bold colors (i.e. deep reds), and make a clear connection to the Viking tradition. We like the idea of using a norse helmet as our icon (side view or face forward, no horns - Google "norse helmets" for examples). A shield or Viking ship are possible alternatives.

Reason: We will be granting a one-week extension to allow additional time for design submissions and modifications. This extension is being granted because of the large number of designers who have expressed an interest to participate in our project over the past few days. We will not be granting any additional extensions, so all designs should be submitted before the extended deadline if you would like them to be considered.
